Sarah Denton Bio Highlights Sarah took vocal lessons since early childhood and was a member of the NWI Symphony Orchestra Children’s Chorus, and later sang as a member of the NWI Symphony Chorus as an adult. Sarah is theatrically trained; has performed in many regional and community theatre productions across the Midwest at such venues as Star Plaza Theatre, L’arc En Ciel Theatre, The Crown Point Theatre Guild, and The White Pines Theatre. In addition to her work with "RADIO MEMORIES," Sarah performs both private and public events as a singing princess for the "Once Upon A Celebration" company. Sarah met her husband Brandon in 2006 when they were both starring in a production of "Grease" at Star Plaza Theatre. Brandon was a "T-Bird" and Sarah was a "Pink Lady." Sarah's interest in musical theatre began at age 8, after seeing the touring stage production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and meeting the show's star Ted Neely. Sarah also loves cats...not the musical...just real live cats!
Brandon Denton Bio Highlights Brandon also started singing as a child and his growing love of music prompted him to join his school's Show Choir and Musical Theatre groups. Brandon began on a professional musical path after joining The Southlake Children’s Choir. He is also a former member of The Singing Hoosiers. Brandon branched into musical theatre after being cast in his middle school's production of "Wizard of Oz." Brandon has performed in many regional and community theatre productions across the Midwest at such venues as Star Plaza Theatre, L’arc En Ciel Theatre, The Crown Point Theatre Guild, and The White Pines Theatre. In addition to his work with "RADIO MEMORIES," Brandon performs both private and public events as a variety of pop culture characters for the "Once Upon A Celebration" company.
TOGETHER Sarah and Brandon Denton were married on the stage at their home theatre in 2011 against a set design inspired by one of their favorite musicals, "Moulin Rouge." This talented husband and wife duo have performed in numerous shows together over the years and enjoy getting to share the stage and their love of music together. Since launching "Radio Memories," The Dentons have performed live on radio, at many private events, including weddings, corporate events, and charity organization donor parties. They also headlined "Seniors Day" at the 2014 Lake County Fair. Beginning in Spring of 2015, The Dentons add "Singing Telegrams" to their resume as "Radio Memories" takes the show from the stage to your front door.
